  • Where do we source our flowers?
    Whenever possible, we try to source flowers from local flower farms across the Niagara Region, however, because we cannot control mother nature, we do also source international flowers. When purchasing internationally, we only purchase from farms affiliated with rain forest alliance and fair trade international ensuring safer environmental practices for the planet and humane and safe work places for all employees.
  • How long do the flowers last?
    The timer on flowers starts the moment they are cut from the ground. However, if flowers are properly cared for, they should last a minimum of one week.
  • Do you reccomend flower food?
    We believe that if flowers are properly cared for, there is no need for flower food.
  • How do I care for my flowers?
    When you get home, unwrap the flowers and trim the stems on an angle. This is an important part because once the flowers leave our truck and are out of water, the bottom of the stems will dry out. By cutting the stems, they are once again fresh and ready to absorb water. Make sure that there are no leaves below the water line. We suggest changing the water at least every other day, and slightly trimming the stems at that time.
  • How much do the flowers cost?
    Flowers are priced by the stem and the cost ranges depending on the varietal of flower you choose. Most stems range from $2-4.
  • What type of truck is Bluebelle?
    It is a 2005 Mitsubishi Mini Cab
  • Does the truck travel outside of Niagara?
    The current plans are for the truck to only be available for events and pop-ups within the Niagara Region. However, send us an email at hello@bluebelleflowertruck.comwith details on your event, and we will see what we can do!
  • Is the truck manual transmission?
    Not only is the truck manual transmission, it is also a right hand drive vehicle!
  • Where did you find the truck?
    The truck was imported from Japan.
  • Can I rent the truck for private events?
    You bet! Visit our event rentals page and fill out the contact form. We will get back to you within 48 hours.

  • What exactly is a "pop-up"?"
    A pop-up is a temporary location where our truck will be parked for several hours on a specific date. There is no one fixed location for Bluebelle, as she will constantly be travelling across the region to stop at different businesses or events. At our popups we will provide everything you need to build your own bouquet, and we will assist as much or as little as you want! We also carry some pre-made bouquets for your convenience.
  • How can I host a pop-up at my business?
    We love partnering with local businesses to support one another! If you are interested in hosting a Bluebelle pop-up, please complete our truck request form.
